The job of Executive Director of Elementary Education is done for the purpose/s of directing the delivery of programs and services at the elementary level (Grades K-5) by planning, evaluating, developing, and implementing services; and serving as a member of the executive leadership team. This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: Primarily effectuating school improvement among the district's elementary schools (Grades K-5). This job reports to Assistant Superintendent of Innovation and Learning

Experience:   Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. 

Equivalency: 3-5 years experience as a principal and earned doctorate is a preferred qualification.

Required Testing  Applicable licensure exam as required by DESE

Certificates and Licenses Applicable DESE Required Certification

Continuing Educ. / Training Required to work some evenings and weekends. 

Clearances Criminal Background Clearance -   Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
