816 Counseling Services, LLC is a relationship-centered mental health practice serving individuals, couples, children, teens, and families throughout the Kansas City Northland and beyond. Founded by Tara Spry, LPC, our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based counseling that helps people strengthen relationships, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life's challenges with confidence.

Our team specializes in attachment-informed therapy, couples counseling, women's mental health, perinatal mental health, ADHD assessments, child and adolescent counseling, reunification and reintegration therapy, and support for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

At 816 Counseling Services, we believe healing happens through connection. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

Located in Kansas City, Missouri, we proudly serve the Northland community through both in-person and telehealth services. In addition to counseling, we provide educational workshops, professional development training, and community outreach focused on mental health awareness and wellness.
