Dec 7 at 7:30 am: Scholarships will be awarded to MCC-Maple Woods Campus Students who submitted winning essays on the topic, “Based on your time at MCC-Maple Woods, what advice would you give to someone to help them have a positive college experience?” Funds raised for this event allow us to support students from MCC-Maple Woods as they strive to meet their educational goals. We hope to help them reduce their college debt, as we are aware than more than half of our students have to borrow. Last year’s inaugural event was so heartwarming when we heard students read their essays to the group. There were five $500 scholarships determined from the 54 essays received last year.
