Description
Juneteenth Freedom Celebration in downtown Liberty hosted by The Clay County African American Legacy Inc. on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10! This two-day celebration of history and culture will include trolley tours, guest speakers, food trucks and musical entertainment by local Krizz Kaliko and DJ Kent Houston. Saturday events will include a ribbon cutting, a dedication of a permanent exhibit room in honor of Clay County African American Veterans, a skit on the life of Underground Railroad Conductor Harriet Tubman, a parade, and concerts.
