With more than three decades in economic development, Jill McCarthy has helped attract major companies and investment to the Kansas City area, working on projects with organizations such as Meta, U.S. Bank, Fiserv, and the U.S. Marine Corps. Her leadership has earned her recognition as one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers and a Kansas City Business Journal Women of Influence honoree.

Courtney Johanning brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit and healthcare philanthropy, including leadership roles that helped guide a $100 million capital campaign supporting cancer services and healthcare initiatives in our region.

Moderated by communications professional Susan Hiland, the conversation will explore leadership, resilience, and the courage it takes to make a meaningful impact.
