Clay County Group Home staff manage the activities of daily living for their residents. Adhering to the guidelines and policies of the program the group home has by guiding, teaching, and correcting the residents with duties such as supervising meal preparation and household chores, assisting with homework, transporting residents to school, appointments, and other scheduled activities, and administering medications while developing rapport, resolving problems, and communicating clearly.
This position requires someone with excellent communication skills, able to effectively use conflict resolution solutions, be a team player, and has a valid driver’s license and liability insurance. Additionally, for a Youth Specialist position the candidate will need to have earned a high school diploma or equivalent. And a Deputy Juvenile Officer will have earned a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Full Time Position title and salary is designated at time of hire based on education level. Pay starts at $19.74 per hour.
